Gary Johnson’s ‘Texas Swing’ Event in Austin, August 17—You’re Invited!
Hosted by Libertarian Candidate Joe Edgar, District 48
Joe Edgar, candidate for Texas House, is hosting Governor Gary Johnson at the Hills Cafe on Friday, August 17, 2012 from 6-10PM. Please join us early for a meet-and-greet happy hour from 6-7PM.
Johnson, who has been referred to as the ‘most fiscally conservative Governor’ in the country, was the Republican Governor of New Mexico from 1995-2003. Governor Johnson is noted for saying NO to wasteful spending, vetoing 750 bills while in office. Governor Johnson brings a distinct business mentality to governing, believing that decisions should be made based on cost-benefit analysis rather than strict ideology.
An avid skier, adventurer, and bicyclist, he has reached the highest peak on four of the seven continents including Mt. Everest.
Joe Edgar says, “Governor Johnson offers the American people a solution to putting our country back on track and I look forward to voting for him in November for President.”
