District 48

District 48 was dramatically changed in the last legislative session during the redistricting process.  It now includes portions of the former District 48 represented by Donna Howard, former District 47 represented by Paul Workman, and former District 49 represented by Elliott Naishtat.

District 48 no longer includes Leander, Cedar Park, Jonestown, and Lago Vista.  The district’s northwestern boundry is 620.  It follows 2222 and includes the area of Austin between 360 and Mo-Pac.  It continues into south Austin near the area of 2304.
